Every time I go to the mall with my daughter, she always somehow talks me into going to the pet store. Every time I tell myself I'm not wasting money on another fish, since that has been the pet of Johns choice since we had to sell our beautiful Himalayan cats. To make that long story short, they because very jealous of Ayanna when she was born, and wanted to pee on everything.
The last time I John and I went to the mall, it was all JOHNS idea to go into the pet store. We walk in, look at the birds, rabbits, guinea pigs.... then onto the puppies. Oh the fat little curly balls of fur... Ayanna, but more me, were in love. This young kid notices my admiration and decides to bring out the little fur ball of curly white and chocolate hair, and places him right in my hands. This little fur baby looked up at me with its smashed in little furry face and these big brown eyes... ahhhhhh... love.... I MUST HAVE HIM! "John... looooooook.... We have to get him!" In which he replied, ever so fast I might ad, that that was a negative. No. No puppy. He did hold him for a little bit, and though he won't admit, I saw him kiss that little ball of fur. I have been bringing it up since we left the pet store empty handed that day, that I want a puppy just like THAT very one. I have been dropping subtle hints and looking up breeders on the world wide web. I think that I might be getting somewhere with it because his answer has now changed to "maybe this spring or summer." I am trying not to but my hopes are way up. And he knows it!
